The first story is “Winter’s Debt”, by T. Fox Dunham, an ice-bound tale of love, honor and betrayal. Fox Dunham is a newcomer to Swords & Sorcery but not to writing. His list of credits is too long to list here.
The second story is “The Wheel of Dargalon” by Jeffery Scott Sims. This sword and sorcery tale tells a story of magical tyranny and revenge.
The review, by Jeremy Harper, is of Imaro by Charles Saunders. It appeared originally on RPGnet in 2006 and is reposted here by permission of the author. I have broken my rule of only presenting material that has not been previously published because this is a good example of the kind of review that I hope to regularly publish in Swords & Sorcery and because this is the first one I’ve had the opportunity to consider. I still hope to present reviews on a regular basis and continue to offer the same $10 that I offer for fiction for first publication of a review. I may consider reprints of review in the future but no compensation will be offered for reprints and none was offered for this month’s review. I’m grateful to Mr. Harper for allowing me to use it.
I can be reached with comments or questions by email at email@example.com. There is also a Facebook page for Swords and Sorcery Magzine where you can find news about Swords & Sorcery and connect with other readers. Until next month—enjoy.
