The trees are green, birds are singing, summer weather is here and so is the June issue of Swords & Sorcery Magazine. There are two fresh magical tales for you to enjoy.
“The Carolian Tablet”, by Ed Ahern, is a tale of magic an intrigue that shows us just how subtle wizards can be.
“Price of Fate”, by Billy Wong, is the story of a seer who is willing to risk everything to save her beloved brother from the fate she foresees for him.
As always, questions and comments are welcome. You can email them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org or find Swords and Sorcery Magazine on Facebook and leave comments there. All of the stories from previous issues can still be found in the archive and comments on them can be made there.
Swords and Sorcery is still considering a name change. I’d be happy to hear any suggestions that describe the stories published here—fantasy tales set in the pre-industrial past that feature action and/or magic. I’m also eager to publish non-fiction about the genre. I’d love to see some reviews—not just of short stories but also of novels, graphic novels and movies.
As always, thank you for reading.
